Garlic Chicken Masala (original recipe)
Classic Chicken Masala with a twist ✨

Ingredients
- 1 cup Baby Bella Mushrooms
- 1/3 cup Sweet Onion diced
- 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 3 cups Chicken Stock
- 1.5 tbsp Garam Masala Seasoning
- 1 tsp Garlic Salt
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 4 pats Butter
- 1 pint Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 2-3 Boneless Chicken Breast
- 3 tbsp EVOO
Instructions
- Season chicken breast with 1/2 tablespoon of garam masala, 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 2 teaspoons of garlic salt.
- Drizzle with 3 table spoons of olive oil and toss chicken breast to coat evenly.
- Place chicken in baking dish and add water to bottom of pan as to create a broth.
- Place 2 pats of butter in pan with chicken.
- Bake chicken, uncovered for 40 mins at 375 degrees. Remove chicken from oven and sit to the side.
- In a large skillet, add your remaining pats of butter, minced garlic and the sweet onion. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add your chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, the rest of the Italian seasoning, the remaining garam masala seasoning, and the remaining garlic powder to your skillet
- Place on low heat and allow sauce to come to a light boil to thicken.
- Add chicken breasts to skillet with sauce and allow it to simmer (should take no more than 10 mins) , to incorporate flavors.
- Toss in mushrooms until they are softened. Serve over fettuccine or rice ?
