Season chicken breast with 1/2 tablespoon of garam masala, 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 2 teaspoons of garlic salt.
Drizzle with 3 table spoons of olive oil and toss chicken breast to coat evenly.
Place chicken in baking dish and add water to bottom of pan as to create a broth.
Place 2 pats of butter in pan with chicken.
Bake chicken, uncovered for 40 mins at 375 degrees. Remove chicken from oven and sit to the side.
In a large skillet, add your remaining pats of butter, minced garlic and the sweet onion. Sauté until fragrant.
Add your chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, the rest of the Italian seasoning, the remaining garam masala seasoning, and the remaining garlic powder to your skillet
Place on low heat and allow sauce to come to a light boil to thicken.
Add chicken breasts to skillet with sauce and allow it to simmer (should take no more than 10 mins) , to incorporate flavors.
Toss in mushrooms until they are softened. Serve over fettuccine or rice ?
